AIR COMPRESSORS BUILT FOR SANDBLASTING

Sandblasting needs a reliable, continuous supply of compressed air. Choosing a compressor with insufficient CFM can reduce blasting performance, while buying more capacity than you need can add unnecessary cost.

At CoolBlast, we specialise in matching portable air compressors to blasting equipment.

Tell us your nozzle size, required blasting pressure and application, and we'll help you choose the right compressor.

Whether you're running a small blast pot or a high-output professional blasting system, we can supply compressors from approximately 40 CFM to over 400 CFM.

HOW MUCH CFM DO I NEED FOR SANDBLASTING?

Your compressor needs to provide enough CFM at your actual blasting pressure to continuously supply the nozzle.

The bigger the nozzle, the greater the air requirement.

A compressor that is too small can result in pressure dropping during blasting, reducing cleaning speed and overall performance.

When choosing your compressor, we look at:

  • Blast nozzle diameter

  • Required blasting pressure

  • Blast pot

  • Abrasive/media being used

  • Hose length

  • Required productivity

  • Whether moisture control is required

Not sure what you need?

Send us the details of your blasting equipment and we'll recommend suitable compressors.

WHY BUY YOUR SANDBLASTING COMPRESSOR FROM COOLBLAST?

We're not simply selling you a compressor.

Because CoolBlast supplies both blasting equipment and compressors, we understand how the two work together.

We'll help you select a compressor based on the airflow your blasting equipment actually requires rather than simply recommending the biggest machine available.
