Blast, Recover & Reuse

The FEVI Pressure Base combines professional pressure blasting with an integrated vacuum recovery system.

The blasting head works directly against the surface, recovering abrasive and dust as you work. A built-in cyclone separates reusable abrasive from waste, allowing suitable media to be used again.

That means less airborne dust, less abrasive spread and significantly less clean-up than conventional open blasting.

Ideal for workshops, industrial maintenance, restoration and jobs where conventional free blasting would create too much mess.

Why choose the Pressure Base?

Recover & reuse abrasive

Collect suitable blasting media as you work, separate it from dust and contamination, and return it to the blasting process.

Reduce dust & mess

The contact blasting head and extraction system help contain abrasive and dust at the surface instead of spreading it around the working area.

Less preparation. Less clean-up.

Reduce the need for extensive screening, containment and abrasive collection compared with conventional open blasting.

Professional pressure blasting

A 24 litre pressure blast pot provides consistent abrasive delivery for professional surface preparation and cleaning.

What can you blast?

Metal & fabrication

Remove rust, oxidation, paint and coatings from steel components, welds and fabricated parts.

Industrial maintenance

Treat specific areas of machinery and equipment without free blasting the entire surrounding area.

Stainless steel & welds

Controlled cleaning and finishing of weld seams, stainless steel parts and metal components.

Stone & restoration

Clean stone, marble, granite and architectural surfaces while keeping abrasive spread under control.

Marine

Target corrosion, coatings and paint on suitable surfaces where conventional open blasting would require extensive containment.

Workshop applications

Ideal for localised blasting where you want to keep the surrounding workshop cleaner and minimise abrasive clean-up.

How abrasive recovery works

Blast - Abrasive is delivered through the pressure blasting system directly onto the surface.

Recover - The surrounding brush and powerful extraction system recover the abrasive and debris as you work.

Separate - The cyclone separates reusable abrasive from fine dust and removed contamination.

Reuse - Suitable abrasive is returned to the system, helping reduce media consumption and waste.

Match it with the right compressor

The right airflow makes all the difference.

Blasting performance depends on having sufficient airflow and pressure from your compressor.

CoolBlast specialises in both blasting equipment and portable compressors, so we can correctly match your:

PRESSURE BASE + ABRASIVE + COMPRESSOR

Already have a compressor? Tell us the CFM and working pressure and we'll confirm whether it's suitable.

Not sure if recovery blasting is right for your job?

The Pressure Base works best on surfaces where the blasting head can maintain contact with the material.

For irregular shapes, corners and complex components, we can advise whether the Pressure Base, Sabix 8 or a conventional blast pot would be the better option. FEVI notes that recovery performance depends on maintaining good brush contact with the surface.
